Worker queues and scheduled triggers
Workers can now be triggered by queues and cron schedules. Queues support at-least-once delivery with configurable retries and dead-letter namespaces; cron supports standard expressions with minutely granularity.
WAF: new managed ruleset "core v8"
Core v8 adds coverage for 14 new OWASP patterns and cuts false positives by 22% compared to v7. Existing zones opt in via a one-click migration; the dashboard shows an A/B comparison before you switch.
Edge KV: multi-value and TTL refresh
Adds getMulti/putMulti operations and the ability to refresh a key's TTL without rewriting it. P99 read remains under 1ms at the 90th percentile of locations.
CLI 1.31: gitflare workers tail
A new streaming log command for Workers with live filters by status code, route, or custom attribute. Output is JSON-lines for easy piping.
Analytics: security events view
New dashboard section showing WAF blocks, rate-limit hits, and bot challenges over time, with per-rule drill-downs and CSV export.
New edge locations: Lima, Nairobi, and Oslo
Three new locations bring the network to 280+ datacenters. Existing zones pick up the new capacity automatically with no configuration changes.
HTTP/3 enabled by default
All Pro and Enterprise zones now serve HTTP/3 by default, with graceful fallback to HTTP/2. Median TTFB improved 11% in tests across mobile networks.
Edge KV enters general availability
After nine months in beta, Edge KV is generally available with a 99.99% availability SLA and a per-month free tier of 1M reads.
